Starting this week, we are beginning a language exchange with the students of Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Tennessee, USA.
There, about twenty of the students in a Japanese class are talking with our students through email, Skype, Facebook, and more! Although we’re in Japan, we have students from four different countries participating!
Students here are learning English, and students there are learning Japanese, so the penpals are using both languages when the write and talk. The students can talk at their own pace: some will chat every day, while others will talk less often.
We’re excited to see new friendships grow out of this!
